London and Surrey based composer Matt Emery’s debut album 'Empire’ was released on Injazero Records in 2017 to widespread acclaim, receiving praise from the likes of BBC Radio 1, Radio 6, KEXP, Radio X to XLR8R, Clash Mag and The Ransom Note. 

After selling out his debut headline show at St Pancras Old Church there have been further performances at venues including The Southbank Centre’s Queen Elizabeth Hall and Purcell Room, Union Chapel, Neue! Step Festival in Istanbul with Nils Frahm and Peter Broderick, a European tour with Seattle Singer Songwriter SYML and UK tour with Sleeping At Last who features on Matt's track 'Dream To Dare'. There has been other notable support shows with: Ichika Nito, Cosmo Sheldrake, Vessels, Throwing Snow, Three Trapped Tigers and Poppy Ackroyd.

Additional EP and Single releases with labels such as Moderna, Fat Cat & Bigo & Twigetti have also received support from BBC Radio 3, BBC Radio Ulster, BBC Introducing, Headphone Commute, Stationary Travels, Son Of Marketing and Self-titled Mag. 

Matt's music has been heard by millions through its usage in in over 100 tv programme soundtracks including The Traitors, The Grand Tour, Champions League Football and Our Girl as well as creating custom soundtracks for trailers of award winning film The Dawn Wall, The Kindness Of Strangers, The Escape and Behind The Blood. Matt has also worked with well known brands such as Hugo Boss, GoPro, Red Bull, Wickes & Lelo receiving global press from the likes of Dazed, Cosmopolitan, CNN News, Microsoft News, Hype Bae and many more.
