Gabriel Yared To Receive Max Steiner Film Music Achievement Award

French-Lebanese film composer Gabriel Yared will be awarded the Max Steiner Film Music Achievement Award at the Hollywood in Vienna Gala on 19 October. This award is given by the city of Vienna and past recipients include Hans Zimmer, Randy Newman, Danny Elfman, and John Barry. The night before the gala, Yared will be performing selections from his Oscar- and Grammy-winning works on piano with the ORF Vienna Radio Symphonic Orchestra at the Vienna Concert Hall.
