Gabriel Yared Receives Max Steiner Award

Gabriel Yared has been honoured with the Max Steiner Film Music Achievement Award as part of the Hollywood in Vienna Gala, which took place on October 19^th. The night before receiving the award, the Oscar- and Grammy-winning Yared performed selections from his music on piano along with the ORF Vienna Radio Symphonic Orchestra. Previous recipients of the Steiner Award since the 2007 founding of Hollywood in Vienna include Hans Zimmer, Danny Elfman, Alan Silvestri, James Horner and John Barry.
