Biography
Joan Valent is a Spanish composer and conductor, born in 1963 in the city of Palma de Mallorca. He is known for his work in the field of contemporary classical music, as well as for his compositions for film, theater and television.
Valent studied at the Conservatorio Superior de Música de Barcelona and continued his training abroad, where he specialized in composition and orchestral conducting. Throughout his career, he has worked with various orchestras and ensembles, both in Spain and internationally.
His work covers a wide variety of genres and styles, from symphonic music to chamber works. In addition, he has received several awards and recognitions for his contribution to contemporary music. Joan Valent is also known for his pedagogical work, teaching classes and workshops on musical composition.
