Digital release of Joby Talbot's The Winter's Tale

Earlier this year, Opus Arte and the Royal Ballet and Opera have released the premiere audio recording of the music from The Winter’s Tale, as performed by The Royal Ballet Orchestra and conducted by Koen Kessels.

Joby Talbot's work with choreographer Christopher Wheeldon has brought about some of the most iconic and widely-loved ballets of our time. Now, for the first time, one of Talbot's stunning scores for these works will be released digitally as an album. 

The Winter's Tale is a masterful modern narrative ballet based on the Shakespeare play. Having received ecstatic praise at its premiere for its intelligent, distinctive and emotionally powerful story, it is now widely judged to be a modern ballet classic.
