Anoushka Shankar's new album out now

We are delighted to share the second instalment of the trilogy of mini-albums by Anoushka Shankar. 'Chapter II: How Dark it Is Before Dawn' follows the October 2023 release of 'Chapter I: Forever, For Now'.⁠

While the first offering captured the feeling of a drowsy summer afternoon, the new collection's opener, the dreamy 'Pacifica', begins a journey into the night, leading listeners through five more exquisite, expansive pieces until first light emerges.⁠

Out now on limited edition vinyl and via all digital platforms, 'Chapter II: How Dark it Is Before Dawn' was recorded during sessions with British producer and composer Peter Raeburn in LA and London. It finds Anoushka expanding her horizons, both artistically and sonically, exploring a mesmeric, at times almost ambient soundscape. ⁠
