Bryce Dessner Scoring Greg Kwedar’s ‘Sing Sing’

The film starring Colman Domingo, Clarence Maclin, Paul Raci & Sean San José follows a theatre troupe who find escape from the realities of incarceration through the creativity of putting on a play. Kwedar also co-wrote the screenplay with Clint Bentley. They are both also producing the Black Bear Pictures with Monique Walton (Bull). Dessner has previously co-scored Kwedar’s 2016 feature directorial debut Transpecos and the Kwedar-produced and Bentley-directed 2021 movie Jockey (with Aaron Dessner). Sing Sing  premiered at the 2023 Toronto International Film Festival.
