50 Years Of 'The Champ'

This year sees the 50 years since the release of 'The Champ' by The Mowhawks. The iconic track is a favourite among funk afifionados and record collectors but is best known through more than 600 tracks in which it has been sampled. To celebrate the release, WhoSampled have featured the track on their website, telling the story of the track and listing many of the tracks in which it has been sampled.
