Craig Armstrong Releases Sun On You

Award-winning film composer Craig Armstong has released his new album Sun On You via Decca Records. The album consists of 16 tracks for piano and strings. Armstrong said of the release 'when composing I felt strongly that each composition gave me, the ensemble, and the listener a chance to reflect. The unhurried nature of the pieces gives a sense of time standing still. I think I wanted the pieces to reflect a quietness and stillness.' He plays the piano on all the tracks on the album and is accompanied by the Scottish Ensemble, the UK's leading string orchestra.
