Philip Glass Scores Jane

Philip Glass has composed the music for Jane, a documentary about trailblazing chimpanzee researcher Jane Goodall for National Geographic. The film, directed by Brett Morgan (Kurt Cobain: Montage of Heck), premiered in September at the Toronto International Film Festival and chronicles the pioneering and tenacious life of Goodall, who left her home in England in 1960 to live in Gombe Stream National Park, Tanzania, to study and research the little-known habits and behaviors of the chimpanzee population.

In November 2017, Philip Glass's musicfor Jane won for best Original Score - Documentary at the Hollywood Music In Media Awards.
