Planetarium Album Release

2nd June 2017

On June 9th 4AD will release Planetarium, the collaborative album from Nico Muhly, Bryce Dessner, Sufjan Stevens and James McAllister. Inspired by the solar system, the project is borne of the group's 2013 live alliance of the same title. In addition to songs inspired by the planets from our solar system, the release includes compositions about black holes, Halley's Comet, the Kuiper belt, the Moon and the Sun.

A24 Music releases Sing Sing (Original Score), by Bryce Dessner. The guitarist and co-songwriter of The National has reunited with director Greg Kwedar for the movie, having previously worked together on Transpecos and Jockey.
Bryce Dessner announced as new National Concert Hall Artist-in-Residence

As part of his residency, Dessner will present new music performed with the National Symphony Orchestra.
