The BBC Proms line-up was announced yesterday, launched with a promo set to John Adams' 'Harmonium', which will be performed on the opening night in celebration of Adams' 70th birthday. Other Music Sales highlights in the programme include the premiere of Michael Gordon's Big Space and the first complete live performance of Philip Glass and Ravi Shankar’s 1990 studio album Passages, as well as selections from Judith Weir, Samuel Barber, Julia Wolfe and Jean Sibelius.
