Biografie

Dion DiMucci is a singer and songwriter who has a history of success in rock, pop and R&B music. He had thirty-nine Top 40 hits throughout the 1950s and 1960s, both as a solo artist and as part of the Belmonts and the Del Satins, including the songs ‘Love Came To Me’, ‘Ruby Baby’ and ‘Donna The Prima Donna’. More recently he has been producing more contemplative music, with albums such as Sea Cruise and New York Is My Home which he recorded with Paul Simon. He was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 1989, for his recognised influence on other artists, and the Grammy Hall of Fame for his record ‘Runaround Sue’. His life inspired the musical The Wanderer: The Life and Music of Dion.
