Biography

From the age of 14 Lasse Kramhøft has worked under the name of 'Pilfinger'. A love of hip hop, R’n’B, soul and reggae has been the backbone of his musical journey from his youth in Lolland to his adult life in Copenhagen.

His artistic CV speaks for itself - Pilfinger is one of Denmarks most successful producers, songwriters and artists of recent times. Throughout his career, he has exhibited a unique ability to constantly innovate, never copying and with his original fingerprints on all of his productions and songwriting. Pilfinger has found success together with major Danish artists such as KATO, Johnson, Topgunn, KIDD, Pharfar, Wild $mith, Bikstok, Natasja, Skinz and Barbara Moleko.

At the same time, he has built a solid name in the United States, as an in-house producer and songwriter for his American manager; American Idol judge Randy Jackson. This collaboration over the years has led to sessions and cuts with world stars such as Ne-Yo, Megan Trainor, Akon and Jordin Sparks for whom Pilfinger wrote and produced the single "S.O.S. (Let The Music Play)” which topped the US Billboard chart.

Pilfingers status in the Danish music industry was really cemented when he was registered as the 2nd most successful songwriter on collecting society KODA's record of most played composers on Danish radio. As an artist, Pilfinger has experienced tremendous success with the act 'Djämes Braun', following their debut victory in largest Danish radio station P3's new talent award in 2012. After 6 years of radio hits, the figures show an impressive stream number that is approaching 50 million on Spotify and more than 25 million views on YouTube. In total, with almost constant touring (more than 500 concerts over the last 3 years) and participation in TV2's massively successful reality series “Toppen af Poppen”, Pilfinger today is a well-known public figure in Denmark.

He continues to write and produce for new, breaking exciting artists. In 2018 he was co-writer and producer of the huge hit “Malibu” for new Danish trap artist Skinz.
