Biography
J Moon is the project of Berlin based singer/songwriter Jessica Einaudi. Born in Milano/Italy and raised in a very artistic environment she quickly developed her creative skills from an early age. From her father she took the love for music, from her mother an unlimited joy of creating shapes and colorful stories, from her grandmother the passion for poetry.
During her classical studies she undertook the study of "Functional method of the voice", a german vocal technique focused on exploring the relationship between voice and body allowing her to acquire a very natural way to express herself through her voice. Over the years she also studied guitar and piano. In 2007 she met composer and producer Federico Albanese with whom she formed the dream pop project "La Blanche Alchimie". Together they released two albums, toured in support of Blonde Redhead and gained national and international critical attention for their melancholic and haunting, intermingling mellow acoustics and rock-infused dreamscapes. Her solo album as J Moon was released in 2014. She is currently working on a new album.
