Oscar nominated scores

The indie movie Sing Sing was one of the year’s best reviewed films, earning high praise for Greg Kwedar’s sensitive direction, as well as for the performances of Colman Domingo and Clarence Maclin, both of whom won acting prizes at the Gothams. The film, which shows the positive impact that the real-life Rehabilitation Through the Arts program has on a group of incarcerated men, was also honored with the organization’s Social Justice Tribute.

Sing Sing will re-open on the January 17 exclusively in theaters having originally been released on the July 12 in 2024. 

Last years Oscar winner for his score to All Quiet On The Western Front, Volker Bertelmann is now shortlisted for the second year running, this time for Conclave, released on November 29. The mystery thriller movie delves into the ancient and secretive process of selecting a new pope.
