sleepy benjamin is the brain child of Australian singer-songwriter and producer Ben Beamish and the truest reflection of his artistic expression.

Signed to Wise Music Publishing, Ben Beamish has worked as songwriter alongside some of the biggest names in the Australian music industry, such as Jack Vidgen, Isiah Firebrace, Sheldon Riley and AYDAN.  His debut single Tunnel Vision received early support from PopularTV (owned by the creators of Nylon), and was additionally featured on an NYC billboard at the heart and centre of Times Square, as well as being remixed by Japanese DJ: DJ Tiara. He has also received support from Spotify Asia, appearing in Spotify’s curated playlist: New Music Friday Singapore and Fresh Finds: Singapore and Malaysia and in his most recent writing trip to Singapore, worked alongside industry veteran Charlie Lim. He is also a co-writer on Rifan Kalbuadi’s latest single “A Place To Belong” which received support from over 13 different Spotify official playlists, and in 2022 he secured a sync placement for “A Halloween Valentine”, a pop-song puzzle game set to be released on PC, Nintendo Switch, and Playstation 5, developed by Victorian studio Things For Humans.

Artistically, sleepy benjamin draws influence from artists like FINNEAS, CXLOE, NoMBe, RY X and Labrinth, exploring themes of mental health while pushing values such as kindness, self belief and a strong work ethic, packaged within crisp production that often features organic, earthy sounds and textures.
