Biography
Carlos Hof was born in Málaga in 1974. His mother was a pianist and his father a jazz enthusiast. Since childhood he has had a very sui generis musical evolution, playing several instruments and being a member of rock, pop and alternative music bands with which he published several albums.
He later founded the record company Origami Records with which he launched more than 30 groups at the top of the music scene both in Spain and internationally.
Over the years, his approach to music has changed to focus on the composition and production of orchestral music of a neoclassical nature. He gave the audience some songs like Murmuration, in his album Singularity, which had more than 200,000 views on YouTube.
Hof mixes his musical influences to propose increasingly different works, under a personal musical signature, allowing him to reach a wide audience of all ages and nationalities. Thanks to his compositions, he has travelled the world between 2015 and 2018, appearing at film festivals (Earth Day and Environmental Film Festival, Denver Film Festival in the United States...) and performing on every continent.
In addition, the artist is internationally recognized as he has been awarded on many times, such as the award at the Pärnu International Documentary Film Festival in Estonia.
So far, Carlos Hof has released four albums, Monochrome, Lumine, Singularity and Adore, and four singles, North, Once Upon A Girl, Fragile and Full of Stars, which demonstrate the artist's eclectic potential.
He is currently preparing several projects, in addition to composing for television and digital marketing. He also creates music for different artistic expressions such as Ballet and Contemporary Dance.
