Biographie

Berlin-based artist KOSCHKA, aka Edita Karkoschka, debuted in 2018 with the minimalistic single The Flood and followed it with Abendstern, a reimagining of Schubert’s Abendstern D 806. Combining classical influences with modern alt-pop, her sound is both cinematic and intimate, shifting from dark depths to emotional highs.

After fronting the German-Dutch indie band NAUSICA until 2019, KOSCHKA fully dedicated herself to her solo project, embracing a creative process fueled by spontaneity and raw emotion. Drawing inspiration from artists like PJ Harvey and Fever Ray, her work blends genre-defying alt pop with evocative classical elements.

Her self-titled debut album, KOSCHKA, released in March 2024, features original songs alongside bold reinterpretations of German Romantic-era compositions.

KOSCHKA’s live performances seamlessly merge these influences, creating an intimate yet powerful concert experience. In 2025, she will tour Germany, Switzerland, and the Benelux countries.
