Alejandro Pelayo

Biographie

The Cantabrian musician, known for his role as composer, pianist and producer of the well known Spanish band Marlango, has been involved in composition all his life.

He began to study piano at a very early age and then went on to study higher education, first in Madrid and later at the prestigious New York school, The Juilliard School. Settled in Madrid since 2000, he began his training in Composition and Orchestra Conducting, at the same time as he began his collaboration with the actress and singer Leonor Watling, with whom he has released six albums to date.

At the same time, he has made numerous incursions as a composer in the world of advertising, film and theatre. His are the soundtracks for "La curva de la felicidad", directed by Manuel Poirier, and "Hablar", by Joaquín Oristrell.

With his personal project, Alejandro has released three albums to date, "La herida invisible" (2017), "La memoria de la nieve" (2019) and "Sobre la piel" (2022).
